In preparing my garden plot,
I plowed up the wheat grass and
mixed in last summer's straw from a round bale.
A friend questioned the straw,
wondering if any seed from the straw
might later sprout up as grass in the garden.
I'm thinking it's a good way to build.
Mixing in the straw so it breaks down,
enriching the soil.
Please advise.
