The straw I used this year as a mulch produced heaps of grass in patches,
but it was easy to deal with - far easier than a multitude of weed types I
get without the mulch. The easist, quickest and cheapest method of
composting straw is to mix it with grass clippings. The results are well
ballanced and not too strong.
