Earlier this month I planted (in the garden) Early Pride Hybrid cucumber
seeds from Burpee which, according to the seed packet, is gynoecious (all
female). I assume this means all of the flower blossoms are female and
that it doesn't require pollination to produce full, ripe fruit
(parthenocarpic ?). Has any body tried this variety in the garden (not in
a closed greenhouse). Do the cukes get bigger if it receives pollination?
