I would cover it with about 4 inches of horse manure or cow manure, cover
that with a layer of clean wheat straw so I wouldn't have to look at it (or
smell it) and forget about it except for monitoring it occasionally to be
sure it doesn't dry out. The earthworms will come. -Olin
