I built mine out of 2by4's , 30inches tall . A 12 inch
2by4 on the bottom of each end for the stand . I made it long enough for
the lights (I use two shop lights screwed together
so I have 4 bulbs ,plenty wide for my trays) to fit
in between . I drilled a hole in each end of the top
2by4 for the chains . I can raise and lower the lights
and slide a nail thru the chain to hold it. Counting
the bulbs it costs about $20 and you can go cheaper
if you just use one shop light. I've used this for
several years and it enables me to have my first
early ripe tomato around the end May ,weather permitting
and thats not bad for Tennessee.
