Like the autumn broccoli/calabrese except it comes in the spring, any
time from about February to April depending on variety and weather. You
pick the shoots with the stems and leaves as they come. There is an
extra early form called Rudolph which can crop in January at the
earliest, Thompson & Morgan have it, code 201. Allan
