hello,
the tangle foot thing is only good for gypsy moths.
The adult tent caterpillare moth lays its eggs in a bubbly mass on the
outter twigs of apples and other host plants in the fall. By spraying
with a dormant oil in the fall and again in the spring at budswell you
can eliminate the tent caterpillars from setting up house (or tent) .
