I have several artichoke plants that are covered with a brown, very sticky
film. I was told that this film was larvae to tiny black flies. This sticky
stuff also attracts the ants. I have noticed the tiny black flies starting to
come out. Any solutions, other than harsh chemicals? I was going to put ant
stakes out, but they are not recommended around vegetables.
