Subject: Pumpkin spacing I Have 30sqft patch and would like to know how many
Squash/melon plants I can pit in there. At the moment I have 8 with 2 okra(which
should be done before the squash mature), 3 corn, 1 cuke, 2 tomatoes and some
bush beans.I'm in the tropics and we have no lack of rain or sunshine.Last year
I made the mistake of only putting in 2 pumpkin plants and it was a gross under
use of space as I discovered. I'm wondering if the Sq ft gardening rule applies
to pumpkins too or do they need more than 1 sq ft per
plant?thanks.
