Re: Bed Construction

My raised beds are 3 feet wide. I determined that width by seeing how
far I could COMFORTABLY reach without kneeling (or falling) into the
bed. I know of at least one person who made their beds 4 feet wide years
ago and now (after aging a few years) wish she had made them 3 feet
wide. Now, my husband is 6'2" and if he were the only one in the family
gardening, could easily have 4 foot wide beds.
