Re: Peas and beans


Exactly, but Mel's book does say 8 plants per sqft. What Kind of peas are 
they? Dwarf, climbing, low foliage? The book also recommends 9 plants per 
for beans. Again, are they dwarf or climbing. I have used sqft methods in 
an indoor trough 2x24 feet to grow veggies year round in my solarium. 
Anyway peas will tolerate crowding more than beans especially if they 
are vines. So get out the execution squad (scissors) and start thinning 
(do not pull them out). Be pleased that you got such good germination.:-)
