I am in Southern California (Los Angeles). It's been pretty hot. Some of my
corn has developed many side shoots and seems to be maturing early, before it
gains much height maybe three feet).
Should I be removing the side shoots? Why is it maturing early? Is this ok,
or should I remove this corn and start again?
Thanks in advance for the help.
