RE: Fw: Asparagus companions/interplant

I planted some herbs between my rows with the though that there would be
minimal disruption to the roots. I planted chives and basil and dill.
However, my strawberry bed is adjacent to the asparagus bed and got a bit
invasive. I dug out oodles of the runners this spring before things really
started growing. I am just now enjoying some of my asparagus harvest. I
was looking for a good asparagus soup recipe to make since I have more than
I can eat right now. Any suggestions?
