Tomatoes - I planted 2 red brandywines, 1 jetstar and 1 early girl just
yesterday. Still trying different varieties, last year I planted better
boys and sweet millions which both did well.
Hey everyone: what is the best tasting tomato to you and why? I don't know
the name of my favorite... I just remember my grandma growing it and it was
about the sweetest, juiciest, firm-but-not-overfirm tomato I ever remember
tasting. It was medium-red with a little yellowing toward the top,
good-sized and sort of looked more like a squash toward the top. If only I
could ask her what it was. Unfortunately I'd need a medium/clairvoyant, or
perhaps someone like Stan ;-
I just got bush green beans, bush limas, pole beans and cantalope planted
today... as I was finishing it started raining, is there anything better?
Good timing is more luck than anything I think.
