I am coming out of my busy silence to say this. I think Beth is right. I
grow about just any variety of tomato I can get my hands on. This year a
friend of the family who owns a nursery GAVE me all my bedding plants;
flowers and veggies. Unfortunately because of the tornado here last week I
could not get some of my french marigolds planted and they do look the worse
for wear. All my other veggies and flowers seem to be doing well. I kept
them alive by giving them turns in the shower. This garden is definitely a
labour of love this year. My pepper plants seem to be the only things that
didn't droop for a bit of time. At any rate I know that my garden will
prosper cause I take to heart all the wise tips I see here on the veggie
list.
Thanks a lot for being here.

PS I save all the bits of garden lore and info on my notepad ....then I edit
for repeats and print it.
