Hi,
I had rinsed and was soaking a persimmon seed, forgot about it, and now it
is sprouting under water. The question is: What do I do with it now? I
believe there was some discussion earlier about planting seed after it had
sprouted in water, but specifically how do I go about it? When do I plant
it? Do I need to leave a bit of the seed "shell" (sorry, I can't remember
the technical name just now) above the soil in order not to suffocate the
delicate green sprout? Should I leave it in the water till it also sprouts
roots? Do I need to get it out of the water immediately?
Please help!
Thanks,
Pat
