tomato plant problem

Hi,      oct. 5th

I've been trying to find information lately on how to prevent hornworms from invading my garden and ruining my tomato plants......I haven't been able to find any helpful ideas except to remove them from the plants when I see them etc... Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can keep these pests from attacking my plants? Each day there seems to be more of them and they have become a real problem.

Appreciate any advice anyone may have..
