Allan,
To me it is. A couple of years ago, I got a box of
tomatillo plants mistakenly labeled as tomatoes.
Well, I soon figured the difference! As Mary said,
very prolific, branches extensively, etc. And the
average size of the fruits was just about 6 cm.
I made jam with mine, so I let them get ripe. If you
harvest before that point, as suggested by Margaret,
I suppose the average size would be a bit less.
