Total cage is about 30 inches tall, three heavy wire legs extending from
top ring to several inches below the bottom ring, then the three rings
(largest on top, then smaller, then smallest at the bottom of the plant,
the legs extending further to be thrust into the soil).  My tomato vines
exceed six feet in height, so a thirty inch support is of little use.  The
weight of the tomato vine with pull it over, and the vine will be on the
ground.  But the cages work well to keep me, my husband and my dog from
breaking off brittle chile plant limbs, etc.  Margaret
