Good Day Arah,
Yes you must have plenty of good, homemade compost to dig in. I have
three heaps and they provide me with all I need.
Now if you click on to:-http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/hil/hil-8100.htlm you
will find" Composting for Home Gardens ". Very useful and it will
give you a great start to your composting. There is another site just
as good:-http://aoife.indigo.ie~ipcc/leafmould.html This one is
gives some info on making leaf mould, another essential in my and
indeed, all gardens.
All the best in your endeavours this w/e. If the weather stays dry I
am going to be very busy indeed. I,ll tell you all about it on
Monday!!
Dave in Pudsey.
