Hi Nesa and everyone,
It's true that the summer crops are coming to an end here. The tomatoes and
peppers have still been coming, much to my surprise, but now some very cold
nights may put an end to that.
However, I did some fall planting last week, and the radishes and kohlrabi
plants have already broken ground. The radiccio and chard I planted late
summer are growing well.
I also have lettuce coming up all over the place, mostly from a couple of
lettuce plants -- bib mostly -- that I allowed to go to seed after they
bolted this summer. I didn't plant any broccoli for this fall -- didn't
feel like dealing with the cabbage moth caterpillars this year.
Happy Gardening !
Pat
