Most winter pears require about 3 months storage at 35-40 degrees F. to
ripen properly. When treated correctly they are wonderfully smooth flesh
dessert fruits. Without the ripening process, they are not very edible.
I hope someone can give you hope, but without developing some flavor and
sugar in mother natures plan, don't hold your breath.
