Acorn Squash
Dave - thanks for the CD idea, I work with computers and can get my
hands on bunches. I had hung a few relectors, probably not enough.
Also, my dog passed away recently and the cats are already moving in, I
was not looking forward to next spring. I'll be ready for the cats and
the squirrels next spring!
Drew - Squirrel pie is NOT an option (bleah!)
Sue - I harvest my acorn squash when the vines begin to die back. I
wash all the dirt off then rinse them in a 10% bleach solution, let them
dry and store them in my cellar. They usually last about 3 months, but
they have to be blemish free to store well.
