Think it needs a trellis. My mother grows the edible kind and has it
on a sort of grape arbor affair built of steel pipe supports and
sturdy wood (I think). Covers it completely in summer, but do not
believe this is self-attaching as say climbing hydrangea, ivy or
Virginia Creeper.
