Re: Barberry (Berberis)


Gail, could you have had a late frost that killed the first leaves on the
barberry.  They seem to grow carefree here.  I know the sunflower hulls
may inhibit some growth but would not that take a lot of hulls?
Otherwise get what hulls out you can(good luck with the thorns) and
mulch.  It should grow when the weather is warmer.  Sorry not to be of
help here.
