Clematis in containers

Does anyone grow clematis in containers? I would like to grow C.
'Florida Sieboldii', for which my Zone 5 is too harsh. Any
particular concerns, other than keeping the roots cool/shaded as for
other clematis? I would plan to use 3 plants in a 15/16 inch (~40
cm) diameter pot.
