Re: Cornus kousa "Moonbeam"

I'm not familiar with the evergreen form, but I know about the straight
species and var. chinensis.  Both are hardy here in Urbana as well as
up north at the Morton Arboretum and in my parent's yard.  We haven't
had a year yet where the flowerbuds where zapped to the point of 
non-blooming, and the fall color is much nicer than C. florida in
my opinion.

I've seen pictures of a new red-flowering Cornus kousa, but I don't 
remember the name or source.  Does anyone else?

Can you elaborate on the evergreen form too?  I'm curious.
