Chinese Chestnut

remember the tree I thought might be a Chinese Chestnut? Well, I
finally contacted my county agent and he called me this morning and
informed me that it is in fact a
Golden Rain Tree. He said they are not common in this area, but do
very well in our area. I think it is a beautiful tree. They do produce
seed pods and I hope I will be able to get one to grow from seed. I
will, however check with my local nursery to see if they stock them, or
can order one for me. I would still like to see if one can be grown
from seed.
