Re: woodyplants DIGEST V1 #1

Hello Cheryl,

What you saw was probably:
Spiraea thunbergii 'Ogon' (syn. 'Mellow Yellow'). I can't tell you about
hardiness, but "Google" the internet and you will find more information.

Ciao,

Does any one know this plant?

I saw it today at the garden center near my Mom's on Cape Cod. The
tag said hardy to -20F which should be ok here, but wanted to ask
  here.
