High bush Cranberry

Hi Laura,
I have a High bush cranberry. It didn't come with a proper name so I can't
say if it's the type your considering but mine is a pretty sorry site. I've
been wondering if I should prune it heavily and give it one more year or
replace it with something else. My other shrubs and trees are growing like
mad this year with all the rain we had so it is not just a poor year. 
Does anyone know if I can prune it to the ground? or what percent of stems
should be left?
