Peter,
Please, oh please, be careful about propagating Lonicera maackii in Sweden.
Because this plant is shade and sun tolerant, because its seeds remain viable
in the soil for a long time, because birds distribute the seeds, and because
it suckers readily, this plant has the potential to be invasive in any climate
in which it will grow.
There are many, many beautiful flowering shrubs. Why choose one that is
potentially destructive. Why take a chance on spoiling your beautiful Swedish
woodlands? --Janis
