Hi, Laura,
Here in Plattsburgh, and in fact, in the adirondacks, High bush cranberry
grows great. Mine has medimum green maple-like leaves which turn very red
in the fall. The lipstick red fruit persists for most of the winter and
is usually eaten in Feb/Mar by birds who resisted the fruit's bitter taste
all winter. ( I hear it makes good jam, tho) Other than aphids I cant
find any insects or disease on it. It likes full to most sun. Mine is 4
years old and 7 feet high and 4 across. Nice and dense for screening.
Any Ques? just email me.
