Re: Rhododendron

Marge

I appreciate the information and the website you sent me. I found both
to be helpful. I believe I've done ok, except for the plastic nursery
pot I used, however that can easily be corrected. I've got some sand
stone or rock that is pretty large. large enough to do the new bed for
my Rhody. I will redo the bed just as soon as it stops raining.
YES, I said raining can you believe it. we had rain on the 11th,
the 13th, again yeasterday and tonight. it's like manna from heaven.
Marge, do you have a tree peony? I noticed the other day when I
picked up my Rhody that she had 3 or 4 tree peonies and I would like to
try one of them. are they a difficult plant to grow?
oh ! I've got to tell you. looking out my bedroom window I see my
royal star magnolia is almost in full bloom. according to the local
weatherman the temps following this bad weather front we are having
right now will start droping. I believe the temp for Sunday night will
be 30. then they will start rising. I think I will get my husband
to help me cover the magnolia with a sheet or something. not sure it
will do any good, but worth trying.

thanks again for the information, and I will take care of the problem

Donna
