Sex and the Single Schizandra

Many catalogs state that the Magnolia Vine (Schizandra chinensis) is
unisexual, having male and female flowers on DIFFERENT plants. Other
catalogs do not mention this and one even states that the flowers are
self-fertile.

Does anyone have any experience with this plant and can tell me where a
single plant of Schizandra chinensis can find reproductive fulfillment?

Thanks.
