Greetings All,
I am unable to verify the legitimacy of a cultivar of Fagus sylvatica.
It is referred to as Fagus sylvatica 'Irish Lace' though in one place I
noticed the following, Fagus sylvatica a 'Irish Lace' which I interpreted to
be "asplenifolia"
I have found no reference that lists 'Irish Lace' as a legitimate cultivar.
If anyone had any book or catalog that uses this name, I would greatly
appreciate hearing about it. Likewise if you know of where or how this name
appeared illegitimately as a cultivar I would like to know.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
