This question may not be completely relevant to all the plants
listservs I've forwarded it to, but I'm hoping to locate a particular
plant and need some help.
I have been looking for a very dark purple lilac that is highly
fragrant. Chris Lindsey has suggested Father Fiala's hybrid named
'Yankee Doodle'.
Apparently, it is propagated at Knight Hollow Nursery, a biotech
laboratory in Madison, WI, but they do not do any retail sales.
Can anyone out there help me find it? Or can anyone suggest
another cultivar that would be very dark purple and very fragrant?
Thanks.
