Dear Donna,
I will be facinated to hear how you get on with your Rhodos. Here in
Cornwall, we are in what some people consider to be the Rhododendron capital
of the UK because of the mild, wet climate. Really , this is only because
they flower earlier and are less likely to get frosted when in flower. We
get a high rainfall, especially in winter and spring, but only occasionally
do we get prolonged spells of drought.
So I am sorry that I can offer you nothing but moral support, but I suspect
that folks in the drier southeast of the UK will be waiting for your results
with curiosity as well.
Good luck!
Tracy Wilson. Cornwall. UK
