First of all, HAPPY 1998!!!
I'm looking for a good blue conifer for the garden, and I'm doubting amidst
Picea pungens 'Fat Albert' or Abies procera 'Glauca'. Which one is for you
more decorative?. Bluer?. Which one is more beautiful as years go by? (I
understand some blue conifers are bluer when young, but lose brightness as
they mature... ). What do you think about Picea pungens 'Fat Albert'?. Is
Abies procera 'Glauca' harder to grow than common Abies procera? (perhaps
slower grower?)
I'm in zone 9 (humid, oceanic climate, very mild temperatures all year
round) and garden space is no problem. Wait for your suggestions!!! :-)
