Help with a puzzle
I have been working with a customer at work (I work for a large nursery/
garden center/ floral business in Minneapolis) who is looking for a
plant that is important to Vietnamese culture. She says it is called
Mai, is a small tree or large shrub like a cherry that blooms in late
January or February in Viet Nam, has small delicate yellow flowers that
look like crabapple flowers. She did not have more information than
that. I have tried all the references I have, but with no more clues,
I'm lost. Most of the materials I deal with are northern hardy or grown
as conservatory plants here. Any ideas? Any suggestions for further
research? Thanks.
