Barb,
Thanks. This sounds like one I want, but I really want the one with furry
leaves too. I think the one I saw is some kind of Arctic/Northern Europe
type (but our summers most certainly are not!). I really like all silver
leafed shrubs and trees. I've been drooling over the willow leafed pear
(Pyrus salicifolia pendulata) but I'm told that it's very susceptible to
fireblight and this is fireblight country. sigh.
