RE: Euonymus alatus

I'm in Salt Lake City Utah. We range from USDA Zone 4 in the foot hills
to Zone 7 in the valleys. Good Luck!

<< My experience with 'burning bush' has been that in drought years
where
Aug. and Sept have been exceptionally dry the plants have hardly any
color at all. Vibrancy has been a factor of both temperature and
moisture conditions. Shady exposures would also have a negative effect
 on them.

David-- Where do you live? What zone? Thanks for the moisture
information.
My friend's yard is irrigated, but this particular area might not be,
I'll
check. The Euonymus are at the top of a slope, so moisture could well
be a
factor. Thanks.
