Now, that I got all the best flowering shrubs, trees, and perennials (I
did get quite a few daffodils ribbons also) of all time, I hate to say
that I am losing some of my treasured shrubs too. The Hibiscus Diane
(no seeds, ever), and the mini lilac are turning yellow along with the
Alstroemeria that all looked great. They are in full sun but too much
rain and cool temperatures have let the fungi have a field day. My
husband says to dig them up and dry them out but I know the fungus is
all through the wood now since the leaves are yellow and ready to drop.
That lilac was so cute too. It was only 2 feet high and loaded with
blooms.
I will be wishing for rain later but not just now.
