Steve,
I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't supposed to be a repeat bloomer. The
damask that I grow was supposed to be and it is likely I selected these
guys partially because they were supposed to repeat bloom (been so long
ago, I forget). But, I've never had repeat bloom. This does not mean
that, under ideal conditions, they wouldn't...just that they don't for me.
Mine are not in full sun or even in 6 hours of sun a day and that may have
something to do with it. I just plain don't know...maybe someone else who
grows 'Blanc Double de Coubert' can testify.
