Don, Is that Golden Rain Tree? I don't have internet or any of my books with me, but I do know we grow a Koelreuteria here, just not sure if it is that species. I'll try to check when I get home. Ours is doing fine here in Zone 5, northeastern Indiana. Kitty
Hi Kitty,
The more common "Golden Rain Tree" is Koelreuteria paniculata. The species bininnata is supposedly less hardy, but I'm willing to try it as our climate here in Milwaukee is somewhat moderated by our proximity to Lake Michigan.
