Re: variegated dogwood


I bet it is a variegated cornus kousa. We planted on in the yard a week ago.
It is a great looking tree and it's flowers are not like cornus Florida.

I'm confused! I presume by "typical" dogwood you do NOT mean Cornus florida
or do you?
You say it produced one 'flower" and that the individual buds did not open.
That seems contradictory to me.
