RE: Dove tree

Don, you need to have a serious talk with your Dove tree.
I guess my parasol tree is not going to bloom any time soon either. So far I have not figured out just how my tree can be invasive since I have never had a flower much less a seed from it. Hope your weather is perfect for your tree to bloom NEXT YEAR!! That is our gardening mantra NEXT YEAR!!!

Finally, a single blossom on my Dove Tree (Davidia involucrata). A bit deformed, but gives me hope that I may finally get to see it in full bloom  maybe next year. The tree is nearly 20 years old and I had always heard that it was not a precocious bloomer. I did get another cultivar, ÂSonomaÂ,
for the front yard, which is supposed to bloom at a younger age.
