Title: Dove tree Finally, a single blossom on my Dove Tree (Davidia involucrata). A bit deformed, but gives me hope that I may finally get to see it in full bloom – maybe next year. The tree is nearly 20 years old and I had always heard that it was not a precocious bloomer. I did get another cultivar, ‘Sonoma’, for the front yard, which is supposed to bloom at a younger age.
