Yes, thanks Joanie.  It’s just that I would like to plant some other color then just the yellow, as this area is already surrounded by Hemerocallis Stella D’Oro, which although I feel is grossly overused, I understand why, from a profession landscapers point if view.  This is a job that I have taken on as a favor to a former associate, but I would like to use some shrubs/perennials a bit different from the plants that everyone else seems to use.

Abbotswood over 6 years is: not much gaping of foliage, does not appear to be overly twiggy, flowers lightly and nicely all summer, cleanly drops the long-lasting blossoms, maintains a good green on the foliage, drought resistant, 3h'x3w', leafs out in May, keeps on going until the first frost.
