Quite a lot on hydrangeas, also found this English reference to "blue Wave":
* Hydrangea macrophylla var. 'Blue Wave' - An old variety, strong growing

I think i'm becoming hooked on this plant, I have plants coming out of my
ears and I didn't even know they existed until last year. Let me know if
you find out any more as I'm very interested in trying some lacecaps later
this year.
