RE: Climbing Tree

I'm zone 7b, on Long Island. 

In general, LI leans towards the acidic, and I add gobs of aged horse manure 
annually.

Where are you located?  Or, better yet, what zone are you in?  We have to
narrow the selection  down a bit.
